The Duchess of Cambridge, patron of the All England Club, and the Duchess of Sussex made a joint appearance at Wimbledon for the ladies final over the weekend. For the event Meghan opted for a blue/white striped shirt and white palazzo pant combination, which shares more than a passing resemblance to the Ralph Lauren designed official umpire and linesman uniform.

This year Meghan Markle was not allowed to wear her Wimbledon hat at the game. She was at Wimbledon in 2016, wearing an adorable white hate with a black ribbon.

And two years Meghan attended Wimbledon with her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton. This time the new Duchess was pictured not wearing, but just caring her hat, in spite of the blazing sun and searing heat. Meghan is so attached to this hat, she just carried it around all day.

The Sun reports that people in the Royal Box are expected to dress “smartly,” – men are encouraged to wear a jacket and tie. Royals are also prohibited from wearing hats because it could block the view of others around them. Since Meghan watched like a regular person last time she went to Wimbledon, she was allowed to wear her adorable white hat.
